Help Communities Map Sustainability

Green Map is trying to engage 500 people in a powerful sustainability mapping project in 2018. Engaging one person costs just $10 and will enable the nonprofit to extend the unique, globally shared iconography to dozens of new mapping and place-making projects in the coming years.  Can you help?

about Green Map System

Changing perspectives with new visions of home, Green Map System provides adaptable engagement tools, a social mapping platform and a globally recognized iconography used by local youth and community groups, NGOs, city agencies and companies who create printed and interactive Green Maps highlighting local nature, culture, social justice and green living resources. The network of Green Map projects has impacted nearly 1,000 cities across 65 countries! From outdoor youth engagement in Baltimore to socially responsible tourism in Cape Town to mangrove forest preservation in Southeast China to participatory urban planning in Curitiba, Brazil, each Green Map project sets its own goals, and shares the outcomes for both local and global advancement.
